Lakehouse Grove style kitchen with blue island

Lakehouse Grove

Our traditional Grove range shown here, has a rather contemporary feel and proves just how different a design can look from one room to another by the clever use of colour and materials.

The base cabinets painted in Farrow & Ball ‘Plummet’ are paired with walnut wood wall cabinets and topped with a Burled Beech Corian countertop which is also fitted as a splash-back above the induction hob.

Such a large space demands a focal point and the central island painted in striking ‘Teal Tension’ certainly catches the eye. The over-sized fumigated oak top on the island offers ample workspace and a generous seating area.

An independent double door larder cupboard is a must have in a room this size and comes complete with all the additional accessories including handmade oak racks and wicker baskets.

Client’s Experience

We chose Baker & Baker because they were local and we liked their designs. Their showroom is very impressive and we could appreciate the quality the minute we walked in. We had just started a large extension when we first met Graham. He was able to advise us on getting the best out of the space and came up with a plan we were really happy with. The whole project ran very smoothly from start to finish and was completed on time. It was a pleasure working with Graham and the team; they were helpful and professional throughout and have produced a stunning kitchen for us. Graham understood our brief and managed to achieve everything we asked for and more. We love it all, it’s perfect! Our favorite is the magnificent double larder and the beautiful walnut worktop on the island.
