Sustainability: A Greener Planet

This summer, we installed solar panels at our workshops in Stambourne.  It was the best decision we ever made and it feels good to know we are generating a good proportion of our electricity.

At Baker & Baker, we strive to be as green as is possible in business and are continually making changes and improvements to be better.

We recycle waste wherever possible and do not use plastic or bubble wrap to package our goods.  All cabinets are protected with reusable furniture blankets.

We moved over to waterbased paints some time ago which is far less damaging to the environment.

Our timber is sustainably sourced and we also run a tree planting program through the charity ‘Trees for Life‘, an organisation doing wonders for the Scottish Highlands.

There is still so much to do but if we ALL make small changes, we can ALL make a big difference.
