At B&B, every kitchen is personally designed by Graham, our founder and designer. We’re a small team, so our approach is relaxed and personal as we take the time to get to know you and your project.
You’ll work closely with Graham from start to finish – As someone with over 30 years experience of kitchen design and who loves food and cooking, he instinctively knows how a kitchen should flow and feel, and he’ll share ideas and suggestions to make sure your space works perfectly for you.
How our design process works
We usually recommend starting with a free consultation at our Clare showroom. Here, you
can browse our beautiful displays and gather inspiration. We’ll be happy to chat through your plans and ideas and get a sense of your style and the kinds of kitchens that appeal to you.
If you decide to go ahead with a full design proposal, we’ll arrange a home visit with
Graham. This usually takes an hour or two, during which he’ll take measurements and get a real sense of the space and it’s full potential. If your project is part of a new build or renovation, we can also work from architects’ drawings.
Designs typically take 2–3 weeks to complete. Once ready, you’ll meet Graham at the
showroom to review the plans together. You will receive a presentation box containing a full quotation, detailed design, and a 3D render of your new kitchen.

When your design is finalised and you’re ready to move forward, we’ll schedule your project with our workshop team and arrange a colour consultation with you. That’s when the fun really begins!
The full design proposal costs £350, deducted from the balance of your kitchen order.
When should I get in touch?
While we generally recommend contacting us around 6 months before your ideal installation date, we can accommodate shorter timelines where possible.
If you are planning a new build or extension renovation, it’s never too early to get in touch, in fact the earlier the better!
